hi, im a new comer when it comes to MAKING cs2 cheats, i used alot of them in the past ive been in the hvh community since early cs:go, but i havent really made them. as of right now ive only made an external which im proud of it has chams using external shaders and such and it has a nice ui with a custom private kernel driver, but enough about that. my question is regarding skinchangers or inventory changers? how detected are they? i wanna make one for myself for my main. how detected are they? is it code depenendant etc etc. any info would help.

are skinchangers more detected than inventory ones and viceversa?

any info helps.

i know external skinchangers are possible and ive gotten one to work but they are really buggy plus knifes and gloves are extremely hard to do so i cba. i know internals are much easier. so can someone tell me what to lookout for when making them?
also should i use my kernel driver to inject hte dll if i do make one?

just don't use any public hooking libs and write your own mm injector.

is it code dependent? i don't understand this question

there's 0 difference in terms of detection between inv & skin changers (from what i know.)

externals can be done nicely but nobody does it because it takes time, you can make a stable skin changer with ability to edit patterns/rarity/all that stuff very easily but like you said, going further is hell.

as for using a kernel driver for your internal, go for it, it's always additional protection.

wtf does an external skinchanger mean

I don't want to sound rude or anything, but if u are asking this question u clearly don't know enough about the basics, so I can't really believe that u wrote your own kernel driver. If I was you, I would learn how Windows works, if u are making an internal, it's all u are going to need, learn about PE parsing, the PEB, understand the process memory.
The deeper u get into how Windows works behind the scenes the easier it will be for u to understand what an AC can and can't easily detect.

how do you have an external skinchanger?? you manually put a png of the skin you want on top???
you can do pretty much everything that internal cheats can do in an external, it's just not always as simple.

to get a basic skin changer working all you need is a skin db (can be found on some gh repos) and few sigs/offsets. a working (although not really good) example is: github.com/wompwomp6/cs2-skin-changer

but like mentioned earlier it's very hard to pull off if you want to at least have knife models, furthest i got was seeing the model update for a second.
