Bug exploit?

I was playing casual with my friend and a person called "possydestroyer" switched from ct to t instantly which made it in a state where he can kill ppl with knife but u cant kill him since hes the same team as mine but he can move for a few seconds and spinbot rlly fast, until he stops moving but keeps knifing the air, and if u get near him u get damage, u cant kill him in any way, and then some people from my team suddently got kicked for doing too much team damage, but hows that possible if we are in casual? shouldnt friendly fire work in comp only tho?
