that’s because google is installed into the vm that the exe was ran and it tried updating it because the auto updater runs on startup

This type of virtual machine is also including other programs such as Google Chrome, this is to mimic real computer since it could be seen as detection vector for virtual machines, and at the same time virus total is showing everything not only activity of X software since such filtering will be not effective, thus this is normal behavior of Google Chrome being updated, and also file is packed thus there is advanced anti virtual machine detection so anything that virus total is showing is not of big value if it comes to assessment of this file. Thus there is need to run this file on real physical machine with spoofed debuggers in order to gather any information about this file. I hope that everything was explained!

I've disabled Anti-VM for PassatHook, anyone with a VM should be able to analyze it if they want to do so.
