What do you even mean by "the best?" you have to be precise, so you can explain what do you look for, such question is pointless.

Let's see if we're talking about clients for 1.21.11+. It would be either Meteor Client with add-ons, Liquidbounce NextGen, or Doomsday Client. Although, if you're on a budget, the best are Krypton, Void, Epitaph, and Prestige. But I'm telling you, if you're going to play 1.21.11 with those clients, you should know how to configure them, since there are anti-cheats like Polar (either water checks or cloud checks, and sometimes it's drunked up in UniversoCraft), Vulcan (that anti-cheat is a bit strange), Verus ($200 for some checks that are all messed up), Grim or Grim Fork, and AGC (the official Minemen anti-cheat).
But if you're going to play Blatant on servers with 1.8.9, the best clients for me are:
Polar AC(either water checks or cloud checks):
Augustus (free or the original version which costs around €80, I think)
Gothaj
(the free version of this one is a bit buggy)
Rise
(a very good client if you want a multi-server client)
Liquidbounce b100 (if you're going to use skidding bypasses)

(another good and more stable one)

There are many other clients for other anti-cheat programs like Vulcan, Verus, Karhu, Watchdog, Nemesis, Negativeness, Grim, and Grimfork, but obviously you'll have to look for one with good bypasses since almost all clients have the same bypasses; the only thing that changes is the interface.
