i can recommend to try some Download tools that may help with better speed or non breaking downloads
since a browser could have problems downloading for long

Guys, I had a really hard time downloading this version from here, so I'll tell you how to do it another way:
1. Create a Steam shortcut and enter "-console" in the target line.
2. Open the "Console" tab that appears.
3. First, enter download_depot 740 731 3979823388424176625
4. Then enter download_depot 730 732 3743854784814690676
5. Find the paths where the depots were downloaded, for example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_740\depot_731" and "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_740\depot_732"
6. Copy the contents of the folders and replace them to another folder you created anywhere.
7. Add csgo.exe through Steam and play.
