I'm fairly new to coding a new cheat but I'm starting to understand the basics. I have looked for information about making a resolver and I'm not sure where to start or where I can find information about it.

I have never seen any good thread or tutorial on how to start making something like this, a bit hard topic.
Depends on what do u want to do, if u want to make proper hvh resolver, then maybe check , it was good hvh cheat, with proper hvh resolver, or if u want brute force resolve, then check any random thread about resolver on any forum...

But if u want any good tip with it, maybe ask voidzero voidzero probably he is the only person on this forum, who will know something about making proper resolver. :)

there is no such thing as resolving properly publically
Plisskien Plisskien said to take a look @ mutiny but the source is really bad made and hard to use i'd rather suggest you taking a look @ enrage and taking your advantage from it

or just

Enrage is good to learn from, but i suggest Weave. Weave was one cheats I used in hvh. Weave has a freestanding type resolver so it is worth it to check the source out.

Enrage is good to learn from, but i suggest Weave or XYO. They were one of the best cheats that used to dominate the hvh community. Weave has a freestanding type resolver so it is definitely worth it to check the source out.
both of the cheats you've named weren't even close to dominating anything :D

I did reply to this dude but I figured id post this here anyway:

You need a few things:
- Get the side properly => eye lby difference, tracing to walls like AA freestanding and animationlayers when moving
- Determine the max delta properly
- Rotate the player model to resolve position
- Detect when you shot through the resolved position and missed in order to readjust your resolved position

You can use smth simple for the side detect like the difference between the eye angle and m_flLowerBodyYawTarget to start out.

For the max desync you can get it based on a combination of velocity (slapsticks function) and choked packets

Rotation of matrices:

also some random outdated crap:
