Why
I have the same problem, still got the msg invalid account (I never bought prime). Anyways, I figured out how to play local w bots: launch with -console and type "connect google.com", wait a bit and then "disconnect". then you can start a match with bots.

valve deosnt support the servers anymore. just dont click okay and type
